Vernacular Architecture Development

Students from Birzeit University and Al Al-Bayt University participated in a joint intensive workshop of vibrant architectural activities which included a series of lectures about vernacular architecture, visits to local Jordanian architectural firms where students had the opportunity to engage in discussions about a wide range of projects and got exposed to different practical experiences shared by Jordan's top architects; and moreover touristic visits to different sites and cities including Jarash, and Al-Petra which was selected as one of the world's 7 wonders. The workshop also included a design sketch problem where students were asked to design a monumental plaza at the campus of Al Al-Bayt University.
